You can’t take care of every one else if you don’t take care of you.
Think about it.
You need your body to be running at optimal performance if you are going to give the most to those you love best.
HERE ARE SOME QUICK TIPS OF HOW TO KEEP YOUR MENTAL HEALTH RUNNING SMOOTH IN A CRAZY MOM WORLD
Think positive, it’s actually easier once you get the hang of it.
SLEEP
Everyone needs a good cry and a nap now and then.
Cut yourself some slack.
Make new friends, but keep the old.
One is silver and the other’s gold. (All girl scout references aside. Always love the originally gangstas, but don’t forget to always make new friends and meet new and interesting people.
Laugh often
Create something
Say NO
Have hobbies
Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff
BE a life long learner
Color with your kids
Outside, outside, and more outside
Learn from your mistakes
Write down your victories! Celebrate them
Read
Move more
Exercise with a friend
Make time for the people you love
Start traditions for the family to look forward to
Ask for help when you need it
Don’t take yourself so seriously
Have a dream
Por ejemplo: Mine is to create a home that makes my kids feels safe and supported. That people are free to be themselves as long as they are being kind. Where we cheer each other on. The rest of the world is full of assholes so I don’t think we need to be that for each other. A place where we can all learn and grow and throw water balloons at each other.
